Problem-solution organization involves the identification of a problem followed by a possible solution. These speeches often just have two main points, instead of the normal three points in many organizational formats. The problem-solution format is particularly good for presentations on policy issues.
The thesis statement will reflect the kind of paper being written. There are three kinds of papers: analytical , expository , and argumentative . The thesis statement will take a different form for each of these kinds of papers. 
1. Determine the type, purpose, and audience of your paper.
2. Ask a question, then make the answer your thesis statement.
3. Take a stance, then ensure that it is provable.
4. State it in two parts: a clear topic and a brief summary of what you will say.
5. Limit the thesis to one or two sentences.
Many authors have attempted to define the notion of Integrated Marketing Communications, and as we will see later on, the definitions vary a lot from one author to another, from one marketer to another. Like any term, IMC is subject to varying interpretations.
After the topic sentence, the rest of the paragraph should go on to support this one proof with examples and explanation. It is the details that support the topic sentences in the body paragraphs that make the arguments strong.
